Rail Replacement Bus Information
In the event of Rail Replacement Buses operating in place of the train (see planned engineering work) the replacement bus will depart from the front Station Road (the main road, NOT in the station approach road - this is approx 100m from the platform, buses will stop either side of the road. Near to the British Rail Double Arrow pole on the traffic island for services heading down the hill towards Marks Tey and the Mainline, and on the other side (adjacent to the house drive ways) for services up the hill to Bures and Sudbury. You may need to signal to the driver to stop. Please be careful when near this road, as vehicles can travel down using excessive speed.
Please see publicity at the station in the poster frames or information screen regarding time as buses may leave earlier than the train to maintain connections at Marks Tey. Any queries or complaints regarding replacement bus services should be directed towards National Express East Anglia.
